Cambridge English: Young Learners – Starters, Movers (YLE)
- Exams in general English for children from age 7, or from 8 at the levels of pre-A1 and A1
- Minimum number of completed instruction hours: 100 and/or 175 instruction hours
- An exam consists of: reading and writing (20 to 30 minutes), listening (20 to 25 minutes), speaking (3 to 5 / 5 to 7 minutes)
BULATS
- This exam tests knowledge of business English, in which the level of advancement is determined according to a point score
- For level A1, the candidate must earn 0 to 19 points
- Testing and evaluation system for companies’ needs
- 4 possible forms of exams: computer test, standard test, spoken language test and written language test
JASPEX 100
(Language and Professional Preparation of Experts)
- This exam tests knowledge of English for expert needs at A1 level
- Minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 150 hours of instruction
- The exam consists of a written part and an oral part
STANAG 6001 1
Standardisation Agreement)
- This is an exam for testing the language skills of employees of NATO and/or the Czech military
- The exam consists of: listening (35 minutes), reading (35 minutes), writing (20 minutes), speaking (15 minutes)
- Evaluation is done in four skill disciplines in the following order: listening, speaking, reading, writing
SEFIC Preliminary
(Spoken English for Industry and Commerce)
- This is an exam testing knowledge of Business English at A1 level
- Minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 150 hours of instruction specialised for Business language
- The exam takes 20 minutes in total and is conducted with one candidate only
TOEIC
(Test of English for International Communication)
- This exam tests ability to communicate in the business and management sector
- The exam consists of: listening and reading (approximately120 minutes), writing (60 minutes), speaking (20 minutes)
- The exam is valid for 2 years
telc English A1
(The European Language Certificates)
- An exam in General English at A1 level
- Minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 100 – 150 hours of instruction
- This exam consists of: vocabulary and grammar (10 minutes), listening (15 minutes), reading (30 minutes), writing (15 minutes), speaking (15 minutes, conducted with a group of 4 candidates)
