1. Competition Organiser

1.1. The competition is organised by Skrivanek s.r.o., Company ID 60715235, registered office Na Dolinách 153/22, Podolí, 147 00 Prague 4, registered in the Commercial Register at the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 232789 (hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser”).

1.2. The rules of the competition to win gift vouchers for Tescoma (hereinafter referred to as “the Rules”) can be viewed on the Organiser’s website www.skrivanek.cz/en/satisfaction-rules and in the Organiser’s registered office.

2. Terms and Conditions for Entry

The competition is open to anyone who is a student on a language course run by the Organiser, and who duly fills in and returns the online Skrivanek Language School Student Satisfaction Questionnaire (hereinafter referred to as “the Satisfaction Questionnaire”) which can be found at the address www.skrivanek.cz/en/satisfaction. Entrants must also provide their genuine e-mail address. Students will receive a course code by e-mail which is required in order to fill in the Satisfaction Questionnaire together with a request to fill in the Satisfaction Questionnaire. There is no legal entitlement to the receipt of information containing a course number, or to unconditional completion of the Satisfaction Questionnaire. Employees of the Organiser and persons in a similar relationship, as well as students who do not provide a genuine e-mail address are prohibited from entering the competition.

3. Process of the Competition

3.1. The online Satisfaction Questionnaire will be available at the address www.skrivanek.cz/en/satisfaction. The Organiser will send an e-mail to language school students, or in the case of corporate lessons, to a contact person, informing them that the Satisfaction Questionnaire has been made available, together with the language course number which they will need to fill in before returning the Satisfaction Questionnaire. Entrants who meet the requirements in accordance with Article 2 of these Terms and Conditions must duly fill in the Satisfaction Questionnaire including the “E-MAIL” column, where they must fill in their genuine e-mail address. Entrants may only fill in one Satisfaction Questionnaire for each course which they attend. The Satisfaction Questionnaire, including the entrant’s e-mail address, will subsequently be sent to the Organiser’s electronic database, from where the Organiser will export the data for the purposes of evaluating the Satisfaction Questionnaires and creating a pot for drawing the winners, containing the e-mail addresses provided in the Satisfaction Questionnaire in accordance with the conditions specified above. Persons who fail to provide their e-mail address, or who provide a misleading or incorrect address will not be entered into the competition. Any duplicate e-mail addresses will be deleted from the pot.

3.2. Winners will be determined by selecting/drawing 5 e-mail addresses at random from the pot created in accordance with clause 3.1. The draw will be made on 7 January 2022. The sequence of the e-mail addresses drawn shall correspond directly to the sequence of the prizes specified in clause 4.1., i.e. the first e-mail address drawn will win the first prize, the second e-mail address drawn will win the second prize, etc. The names of the entrants will subsequently be matched to the e-mail addresses drawn according to the relevant Satisfaction Questionnaires which the entrants have filled in. Winners will be notified of their prize in an e-mail sent to the address provided in the Satisfaction Questionnaire completed by them. The Organiser will also publish information on the competition winners at the address www.skrivanek.cz/en/satisfaction. This information will contain the winner’s first name, the first letter of the winner’s surname, and the town/city of the Organiser’s branch where the winner attends a language course – e.g. Jan S., Prague.

4. Prize

4.1. The competition winners will receive one of the gift vouchers listed below:

  1. A voucher for the Tescoma brand e-shop worth CZK 500, valid until 30 June 2022.
  2. A voucher for the Tescoma brand e-shop worth CZK 500, valid until 30 June 2022.
  3. A voucher for the Tescoma brand e-shop worth CZK 500, valid until 30 June 2022.
  4. A voucher for the Tescoma brand e-shop worth CZK 500, valid until 30 June 2022.
  5. A voucher for the Tescoma brand e-shop worth CZK 500, valid until 30 June 2022.

The total number of winners is fixed at 5 persons, and each winner shall be entitled to one prize only. Prizes will be distributed in the exact order in which the e-mail addresses are drawn from the pot.

4.2. The gift vouchers specified in clause 4.1. cannot be exchanged for cash.

4.3. If the winners pursuant to Article 3 of these Rules fail to claim their prize at the Organiser’s e-mail or postal address within 30 days of being notified of their win at the e-mail address provided in the Satisfaction Questionnaire, they shall lose their entitlement to the prize without compensation.

4.4. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be assigned to a third party under any circumstances.

5. Personal Data

5.1. Entrants’ personal data will only be gathered for competition purposes and will be deleted after its termination (i.e. after all prizes have been presented pursuant to Article 4). Information obtained from Satisfaction Questionnaires that does not constitute personal data will be stored by the Organiser for its own needs, particularly for market research and for improving the quality of services.

5.2. The preceding provision shall not affect arrangements between the Organiser and interested parties or competition entrants concerning the processing and storage of personal data made when entering into or negotiating contracts regarding the provision of the Organiser’s services in the course of its business or commercial activities.

6. Right to Modify the Rules

The competition Organiser reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time until the competition is held.
