French language exams for level C1
DALF C1
- general French exam at level C1
- minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 810-950 hours
- the exam includes:
- listening
- reading
- writing
- oral testing
- all four parts of the exam are scored, with a maximum of 25 points to be obtained from each part
- the candidate must receive at least 50 points out of 100 in order to pass the exam
ECL C1
- general French exam at level C1
- the exam includes:
- reading (45 minutes)
- writing (75 minutes)
- listening (35-40 minutes)
- oral testing (based on level 13-21 minutes, conducted with two candidates)
TCF
- general French exam, in which the level of proficiency is determined by a point score
- the candidate must achieve 500-599 points for level C1
- the exam includes three compulsory and two optional parts
- the compulsory part lasts a total of 1 hour 25 minutes:
- listening (25 minutes)
- use of language (15 minutes)
- reading (45 minutes)
- optional part
- speaking (12 minutes)
- writing (60 minutes)
TCF RI
- this exam tests the ability to communicate in the field of international relations and diplomacy
- this exam makes it possible to obtain certification from level A1 to C2
- the candidate must achieve 500-599 points for level C1

- the compulsory part lasts a total of 1 hour 30 minutes:
- listening
- use of the language
- reading
- optional part
- speaking (15 minutes)

STANAG 6001 3
Standardization Agreement 6001 level 3
- intermediate level exam designed to test language skills of employees of NATO and the Czech Army
- assessment of four skills in the order of listening, speaking, reading, writing
- the exam includes:
- listening (50 minutes)
- reading (60-65 minutes)
- writing (90 minutes)
- oral testing (20-25 minutes, conducted with one candidate)
TEF
- general French exam, in which the level of proficiency is determined by a point score
- the candidate must achieve 500-599 points for level C1
- this test is created by the Center de langue française for the Paris Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CCIP)
- candidates of all levels take the same test
- the exam includes: listening, comprehension of the text, optionally also writing and/or speaking,
- it is also possible to undergo it in a variant intended for applicants for immigration to Canada – TEF Canada – or Québec – TEFaQ
DFP Affaires C1
- this exam tests knowledge of business French at level C1
- minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 500 hours
- the exam includes:
- reading and understanding business language
- listening and writing
- reading and writing (2 hours)
- oral testing (30 minutes)
TFI
- this exam tests knowledge of French for work practice, in which progress is determined by a point score
- the candidate must obtain at least 395 points from the listening part and 430 points from the reading for level C1
- the exam is written only – it consists of 180 questions and tests the comprehension of read and heard texts
- the exam takes a total of 110 minutes
State Language Exam Basic
general French exam at level C1
- minimum number of completed instruction hours: approximately 800 hours
- the exam is organized by language schools with accreditation for state language examinations throughout the Czech Republic
- the exam includes:
- written part (240 minutes: reading, writing, listening and use of the language – grammatical and lexical structures)
- oral test (25-30 minutes)
